And these kids want to stay here, their home, so one way or another they will find a way to get a DHS issued work permit or residency. Meaning your argument is invalid, and also these immigrant kids have not broken any law by staying here! Backed up by the supreme court decision as well as the fact that staying in the US without permission is NOT a criminal offense it is an administrative offense.
